Here is a list of the best books I have read so far in 2020. It was hard to choose since I loved all of them so much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

January: The Viking, by Marti Talbott<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I read many amazing books in January 2020, but The<\/em> Viking<\/em> was by far the best one. I couldn\u2019t stop reading it from the moment I opened it. What I liked the most about it was that I could really relate to the characters even though the story was set 700 years ago. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are looking for a thrilling Viking tale, you should definitely read it! You can find a review of the book here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

February: Pride and Prejudice, by Jane Austen <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On February I read Jane Austen for the first time. It was amazing. At first I had a bit of trouble understanding some parts of the book, but I soon got used to her writing style. I must say the effort paid off because once I started reading her works I couldn’t stop until I had read all of them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you love romance novels, you should absolutely read this book! You can download it for free on Amazon<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

March: I, Robot, by Isaac Asimov<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This is the only science fiction book I’ve read so far this year. I had had it in my bookshelf for years until I finally decided to read it. I enjoyed every part of it. It made me wonder what would happen if machines were to become actually more powerful than humans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I think the best thing about it is that you don’t need to be a science-fiction fan to enjoy this book. Here<\/a> you can find a review!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

April: Emma, by Jane Austen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On April I read Emma<\/em>, Sense<\/em> and<\/em> Sensibility<\/em>, and Mansfield<\/em> Park<\/em>. It was hard to pick only one book since I loved all of them so much! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I chose Emma<\/em> because she is one of my favourite Austen\u2019s characters. Though she may seem perfect, she is actually flawed in a way that makes her really relatable and authentic. As I read the book, I came to love and admire her very much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you like realistic romantic stories set in the nineteenth century, you should definitely read it! You can find a review of Emma<\/em> here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

May: Northanger Abbey, by Jane Austen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I wasn’t lying when I said I couldn’t stop reading Jane Austen until I had read all of her works. On May I read the book which is now my favourite: Northanger Abbey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had such a good time reading this story! There were some parts where I just had to stop and say wow<\/em>. I loved how I could really relate to Catherine, and I had so much fun reading about her adventures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

June: The Prince and the Pauper, by Mark Twain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Prince and the Pauper<\/em> is a great book. Set in London during the reign of the Tudor dynasty, it tells the story of two boys – Prince Edward VI and Tom Canty – who switch places due to their identical resemblances. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the kind of story that makes you think. Even though I found it a bit hard to read, I couldn’t put the book down until I had finished. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a fan of historical fiction, you should definitely read it! You can find it on Amazon<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
